G - Reporting
Bit of a quite day today woke to gloomy skies and dark clouds that looked very ominous so we skipped doing washing and took the opportunity to clean out the truck as it was covered with dust as I had forgotten to close the rear window -doh!
After lunch we decided to check out the Naran Tuul market also know as the black market its a huge sprawling place but is a haven for pickpockets and bag slashers so we only took a few bucks and no cards.
It was quite the place so big we even got lost trying to find the entrance as it surrounded by all sorts of smaller markets selling things like 2nd hand car parts and Gers, once in there is just row after row of stalls selling everything from flip flops to furniture, me and B both picked up a pair of the former, for a couple of bucks each and then just wandered around looking at all the stalls, it would have been nice to get some pictures but again we were warned against taking cameras, due to the risk of loosing them :-(
After we returned to the Oasis and started route planning for our trip to the Gobi and scored some great new GPS maps for Mongolia from a dutch couple that arrived today.
