After a morale- boosting bacon sandwich for breakfast I started work on the truck 1st installing the new radiator, then fixing the dented bash plates under the truck and also the sticking rear door that had stopped opening after a particularly big bounce on the ooh so smooth roads.
That done it was on to the roof rack that had been all bent out of shape by the weight of the jerry cans during the crash, to help with this I need some steel tube which the oasis guest house handyman/security guard took me to buy as the metal merchant was only about a Km we drove down the sidewalk/dirt the wrong way rather than cross the road!
Gave up on the repairs about 5 as it had been other 30c all day and frankly I was knackered and spent an enjoyable evening in the oasis garden getting drunk with new arrivals Helle and Bea from Germany.
