B - reporting
Today was spent in the Oasis, while G fixed the roofrack and I bumbled around the internets. Long bolts were needed, and eventually the 'orphan' belonging to the Oasis went out and sourced some. Meanwhile our toolbox was used by Italian bikers crating their bikes to be flown home, a Croatian biker who needed a jack and a German biker...the help was mutual as Helle helped G lift the roofrack (while I hovered around, too short!) and the Italians tried to find us bolts.
All was sorted by 6:30, so we had showered, then ate chicken and chips cooked by the Oasis kitchen and a few beers as this is our last night (ie last shower!) of civilisation for a while.
