G Reporting

At last leaving UB (for the 2nd time!), but not too early as by the time we had sorted everything out and paid the bill and said goodbyes it was lunch time, head across town and picked up some oil and bulbs for Swiss and then on to Hypermarket No1 not to be confused with the inferior Hypermarket No2 for food and the inevitable beer and then we were off.
Well almost… the road out of town was closed with detour signs, so after a couple attempts to find our way out I noticed a line of cars heading west down a horrible dirt track between some industrial buildings so with nothing to loose we followed, after bumping along for a couple of Km and disappearing several times in clouds of dust (and I’m sure at one point we were driving down a storm drain) I was about to give up hope when we emerged onto a lovely tarmac road heading west! At last bye bye UB won’t be missing you.
The road west being paved was a pleasant surprise so we wasted no time to put some distance under our wheels as it was nearly 3 by the time we cleared the city and managed nearly 200km and camped on a hillside overlooking the road below and only woken once by the noise of a heard of horses eating nosily by the car.
