B - reporting

Up early-ish again! We walked down to the fog-shrouded beach for a final look at the Bay of Fundy, eerie but beautiful in the pink morning light. Then continued down the coast to St Andrews By The Sea, an extremely pretty village on, as the name suggests, the ocean. It is now on my list of places to live in, post-lottery win.

But we have a long way to go, so after a coffee and wander round town we carried on to St Stephens, home of Ganong chocolate* and the border to the US. We joined the small queue and were very soon in Maine, after one of the smoothest border crossings on our trip.

We drove through the countryside, quite agricultural in these parts, and camped that night in a small private campsite by the bay, bothered intermittently by mosquitoes

*I only bought one bar, honest.

St Andrews by the sea

was really

rather nice!
