I was disappointed that the campsite cat didn't vist us in the morning, but he was probably snuggling up with other random strangers. We headed out quite early for a drive along the coast in the clear morning light, and reached Green Gables museum/tourist trap just before opening.
I loved Anne when I was a kid, so we went in to the farmhouse which LM Montgomery based Green Gables upon. It was very interesting and well done, down to having correct period newspapers in the rooms. After a coffee, and failure to persuade G to try on a straw hat with red pigtails, we left.
Had a pretty drive down to Charlottetown, where after a wonder around we had lunch. Then we headed along to the Confederation Bridge and a new province! New Brunswick welcomed us, and we found a lovely campsite in Fundy National Park for the night.
