G - Reporting
So 1st full day in St. Johns was greeted by overcast skies and wind, so bundled up we walked the 3km into town by which time the sun had come out the clouds had gone and I was roasting!
So stopping for coffee and trying to stuff my jacket and hoodie into my camera bag plans where made to head up to signal hill the impressive promontory above the city, the walk was not bad and views were spectacular one way looking out across the north Atlantic and behind us the city spread out of rolling hills, nerdy geographical moment according to the sign at the top I was closer to the UK than Vancouver right now by well over a 1000km!
We followed this up with a walk along the cliffs back to town and a late lunch in Nautical Nellie's pub by which time we where all done and headed back to the campsite.
