B - reporting
We had a quick breakfast at the motel then drove into Napannee so G could have his hair cut. I found a lovely cafe and tried to decide if I was pleased or disappointed that the funky shoe shop was not yet open. Oh, where are you, winning Lottery ticket?
The drive to Toronto started very well, through small-ish interesting towns and of course the mighty Lake Ontario (very exciting to see it for the first time) but as we approached Toronto the rain and traffic became very heavy. However we made it to our hotel and after a revivifying refreshment* we headed out to meet up with a friend for Bellinis. A great evening, and you will be amazed that we actually learned our lesson and did not drink too much!
* yes, it was beer, no prizes
